Ok so I finally I cashed in on my free trip.

I just got back from Israel. I know, I know.. I always 'just get back from Israel' - but this time it was a little different. The man in the photo above is Yariv. He was our tour guide, and possibly the most passionate and knowledgeable person about Israel and just about everywhere else. Yariv IS National Geographic.

We did more on the trip before 10am than we would ever do in a week! So, here's some stuff. In no particular order. sorry hannah.

Jack and Julia came up to celebrate my birthmonth.

We stumbled upon a hill of hippies, where Jack dared to resist drugs.

So most of us went and took the bus to Khan Toke for thai food.

We got to watch the sun set, in the sunset! But, not because we wanted to.

We got there, and became giant and shoe-less.

Gord became creepy. er.

Dylan became Brian. (or at least devin thought so..)

Everything was really good because Lauren is a good order-er. and Jonny is a good share-er.

On the actual celebration of the DAY I was born, I went to Squat and Gobble for breakfast on the way to school, where Mohammed gave me a fancy present in the form of a fruit and nutella crepe.

Then I went to school to take a test, and celebrated my 22 years afterward with some friends and class mates at the pub.

Jonny picked me up from school and we saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall, then we ordered sush!

I continued to celebrate my birthmonth when I went to Weird Fish for brunch with janel, sara, linda, & stephanie.

Oh and Kadi Hobi got me a mexican chocolate ice cream cake from Mitchells. Because everyone knows thats my favorite. Dev brought me the pretty roses..

Jonny and I went to the Japanese Tea Gardens.

They charged 10 bucks for these cookies, and a cup 'o tea.

Then we went to the botanical gardens across the way..

I went home and saw Erica.

And Ju and I went over to Ben's and played with his FreakCat.

My mom and Bailey came to town and we went to The Legion of Honor where there was an Annie Leibovitz exhibit.

Outside was a man thinking. No, it wasn't Jonny.

It really rubbed off on everyone.. we all became just a little more, smart-er?

I traveled to Europe with THIS guy.

Oh i guess you can't really tell which guy.. I meant THIS guy:

We learned a lesson on our trip, and it was NEVER to fly through Heathrow Airport, for any reason, ever.

Our connection flight to BCN was cancelled, so the airline put us up in a hotel for the night, and put us STAND BY on a flight at 7 in the morning. But they didn't tell us we were stand by, they told us we were booked on it for sure. Mind you, this is the DAY before Christmas. At an international airport.

Of course, after we didn't make it on the 7 am flight, so we waited at the airport (not in the main part, cause since we didn't have a boarding pass we had to wait in the shitty entrance part, where there were people sleeping all over the place and unorganized lines of angry people traveling for Christmas to be with their families they probably don't even like that much anyway)...

This is jonny really bored at Heathrow.

We did Sudoku and Word Searches till our eyes popped out of our heads,
that is... for NINE hours.

We finally got on a plane around 3pm stand by, and found out 5 minutes before the gate closed. We ran through security and ran through the airport and made it on!

Oh yea, but then once we got to Barce, my luggage was lost... for 4 days.

But anyway.. We met Jonny's family and family friends in Barcelona!

We stayed with them in an apartment, this was our room

Oh yea, at every place we stayed i took a picture of us on the balcony (if there was one) to show the view. Our heads got in the way a lot, but that's ok. what's more important is to see a picture a jonny and me. right?

We went to Antoni Gaudí's, Park Güell and it was really cool.

We took a break and all got these sandwiches.

But seriously though, how cool is this place?

Jonny's family left and we were on our own. Oh yea, still no luggage.. and couldn't go shopping to buy things because stores were closed for christmas and then for some saint's day.

This was the next apartment we stayed at, right off Las Ramblas.

The bed was up this sketchy staircase, as a loft but the ceiling was so low you couldn't stand up or you'd hit your head. ugh.

We went to this falafel place, and Jonny said this picture would make Dylan jealous, because he's eating the good falafel and he's at MACBA. Dylan never told me if the photo made him jealous or not.

We made dinner every night in that apartment. And we stuck to the basics:

I went to the Market place one day. It was fun and crazy and gave me anxiety all at the same time.

This place looked really good and everyone was gettin lunch. So i got some too..

I shoulda known no prices written on the menu meant 10 friggin euro for a salad.
It was really gooood though.

I got outta there with a nice bowl of fruits..

Oh yea New Years, duh!

There were 9 million people, and they all congregated about 5 feet from our apartment.

Police forces tried to control the crowds.

But that didn't stop us.

The greatest part about New Years Eve was looking down from our balcony at the apartment. We saw about 6 people fall and 20 people pee.

This is the fourth place we stayed. A hostel in the Gothic area of Barce.

Our last night in Barce before we went to Amsterdam we had Paella.

And jonny accidentally ordered really huge beers.

We raced. He won because he drank his beer AND mine.

It got cold, and Jonny is a gentleman.

They liked us there, and gave us free shots of some really cool tasting stuff.

Ok, so the story with the picture above is.. we were walking along and this place had a sign that said "COME LOOK AT OUR CANNABIS GARDENS." okay.. CANNABIS GARDENS sounds like there would be a lot of plants and a really cool garden. They charged us 3€ each and we went to see the "gardens" which was a couple lousy plants. RIP OFF.

Jonny accidentally ordered the way too large size again when we had coffee.

We took a boat cruise around the canals...

it was a rip off.

There's a bunch of little places with fried food.. we had a cone of french fries everyday, with different sauces on them. One question though: WHY do Europeans like big glops of MAYO with their fries? I want to know because it makes me wanna vomit.

Ok one cool thing about the canal cruise rip off tour thing was that we could see all the house boats in the canals. They are soooo cool

Another rip off was the Anne Frank House.

Oh ok see that big green building? This place was pretty cool, it's the NEMO and it's just like the Exploritorium in SF.

There was a whole floor for TEENS!!

One day we walked around and i took a picture of the whole scene.. Jonny told me "they don't like it when you take their picture" I didn't know who he was talking about, but I looked a little closer and saw prostitutes in window displays.

Gord says I take street credit away from Jonny. But I don't even care.

I went to Chicago for a wedding I wasn't invited to, all because my Israeli family was there.

This is the bean. It's a great thing. It was probably the highlight of my trip. And we went to the bean twice.

jenna, sara, and i went for a midnight jog.

sara led the streching excercises.

after streching, we were ready to go!

we ran into the park where we met some nice boys and joined in on their game of HORSE.

i didnt make ONE basket. UGH

then this dude who we thought was asleep on the park bench wanted to play.

then more dudes came! and we went into the playground area of the park.

we hid the key in jenna's sock.

the next night we went out with sara's sister and her friends

sara wouldn't leave me alone.

jenna had this weird thing with legs that night.

she wouldn't leave me alone until i put my leg on the table.

and then.. the downfall of sara began..

well, nicky went to utah and had a hard time keeping her clothes on.

she came back and we went out.

We went to a Metallica party.

aaron and jonny smashed up reese's pieces to put in the brownies

they were really good.

Nicky and I went to do laundry. And it was a crazy day.

A girl stole this other girl's clothes!
and they got in a fight on the street and the cops came and took the theif away!

i need a new camera.

this is the girl who got her laundry stolen. She kicked the crazy girl in the back really hard.

then the place flooded and the fire department had to come sweep the water out.

then aaron and joanna left.

they got the girls of Dont Haight flowers and a cake. awww

nicky took pictures of us with the cake.

Sara's boss went out of town and she is house sitting for him. So Linda and I went to keep her company.

For the Fourth of July we had a bar-b-q at our house.
We don't have a bar-b-q, so this guy let us use his.

nicky found a sweet towel

nicky wore her towel as some sort of cape.

we lit sparklies and noice things

then these dudes came over.

then we went to dylan/kyle/jonah's.

when i came back home this dude made hotdogs outside in our backyard in the dark.

then it was janel's birthday. she turned nineteen.

sara and i met her at boogaloos in the mission for breakfast.

then we went to sf party in the TL.

we got pinatas!

and cotton candy!

there were BIG GAMES

and a balloon that nicky would like.

brad was victorious.

brad put on the head of the unicorn pinata.

janel got herself an ice cream cake.

everyone tried on the unicorn head, because brad set an example for us all.

then we went to northbeach. i think cause mossimo is italian.

moshimoo put on his glasses, to feel invisible.

so did brad.

i guess this was mossimo's friend.

oh yea, and today kyle dylan and jonah decided to get really big churros from a lady in the mission.
kyle had a bit of a hard time eating his big churro.

i think he decided to save it for later where dylan will pre- chew it for him.
